Good morning people. Barka da Sallah to my Muslim friends and happy holidays to everyone else, including those that have to work today
I'm trying very hard not to discuss political matters but I just have to say this one. Someone put up a post about how 'they' voted for change (I would have voted for Transformation if Prof. Jega allowed me) and how it was wrong to stone Dr. Saraki, particularly on a religious holiday and she ended with ‪#‎saynotoviolence‬. Though I'm not an APC supporter, I endorse THAT post.
The comments on the post, though, are just shameful. If you're going upandan fighting against domestic violence but you endorse violence and oppression in other areas of our national life, it's time for a ‪#‎HeartCheck‬. Here's the comment that made me run away from the post before I write ‪#‎Nonsense‬ there.

Bukola Saraki may have started facing Karma. In July 2009, Saraki & his co-conspirators including the CBN Governor Sanusi Lamido hatched a plot to bring down Intercontinental Bank. Saraki was owing the bank heavily & Erastus Akingbola was bent on selling his assets pledged as collateral. Many of those assets were listed in the CCT document. The only way out for Saraki to save his assets was to plot the removal of Erastus as CEO of the bank, bring down the bank & Saraki's debt sin will be washed away. Sanusi had a different grudge against Erastus & found a worthy ally in Saraki. Saraki used the press to publish a list of assets of Akingbola & Cecilia Ibru both real & imaginary. Expectedly, it generated & resulted in public hatred for both. Some of the assets were published at current value when they have been acquired at far lower values. The press was manipulated against Erastus by Saraki to give a dog a bad name. Saraki played god. He terminated the careers of thousands of people just to save his assets from being sold by a bank. He caused CBN under Lamido not to accept recapitalisation proposals of the banks. He influenced CBN to make his boy Lai Alabi CEO of Intercontinental. Eventually Saraki's loans were written off. He got his assets back but many families have suffered. Saraki is evil. He is selfish. He will set a whole village on fire just to kill a rat. This is more obvious the way he has gone about his ambitions. Saraki cannot be trusted. He is a great manipulator. Saraki is now confronted with a similar medicine he has applied on people to get to where he is. When this case starts Saraki will be confronted with facts that will shock him. If this is followed to logical conclusion he may lose his assets & even go to jail which is where he rightly belongs. Think twice before you show any sympathy for Saraki, an evil of a man. If he escapes the judgment of man he cannot escape that of God"
ASSUMING that was true, does that justify violence? If your answer is yes, I hope I won't hear a different song from you tomorrow about how violence is never justified ooo.
In other news, I left an awesome group today because the privacy settings were changed from "Closed" to "Secret". I belong to only 2 secret groups and there are business reasons for that. One of my issues with Group 3 was the fact that it was a secret group. Every time I see the "Secret Group", I just keep seeing "Secret Cult". I'm not judging, I'm only explaining...

Someone put up a post about a woman who finally conceived after about 8 years of marriage (and a miscarriage). Apparently, when they had a scan last month to determine the sex of the baby, the husband didn't like the 'answer' after waiting so long. So, he's asked Madam to terminate the pregnancy so they can start all over again. You can now pick your jaw from the ground, thanks. Lol. Madam has advised herself and gone to her parents' place FOR... NOW...I hope the Lord will touch his heart...

As painful as the story is, that's not even what is shocking me...One amazing woman of Facebook says it's a fake story because 1) they shouldn't have waited up to 5 months before conducting a scan (nothing in the story says that was the first scan ooo) 2) It is unheard of to see a couple who have waited long for a child to go for a scan to know the sex of the child. The joy alone that they are expecting a child will be so overwhelming that sex of the child is the last thing on their mind.

If that one is paining you, then you need to read this comment - "Please, help me ask our sister if she aborted for him before they got married. This type of dysfunction is usually common amongst couples with such backgrounds,which usually becomes the default settings for their marriage!"

Seriously? Seriously?? Seriously??? I just kent deal...I'm off to search for Zobo...

AMAZING HUMANS OF FACEBOOK - DEBUT

One of the people on Facebook who have been working tirelessly to minister "sense" to lost brains put up the picture below and asked the "real" women to show up...Of course, most of the women that showed up admitted that they're "fake". When the "real women" showed up, I realised that there is need for more labourers in the ministry of restoring "sense" to lost brains...
One "real" woman claims that cheating is not the worst thing to happen in a mar...riage...You sabi AMA na...I asked...

"If cheating isn't the worst thing to happen in a marriage, what is? (I'm just curious oooo)."
Another "real" woman (RW2) responded with
RW2 had commented with "...Some people are dealing with worst things. What about living with unrepentant cheaters? That rub it on their spouse faces. How many in this group have access to their hubby's phones? How many can come out and say their hubby is faithful to them. Lets be real here some have not slept with their hubby for over one year..."
This AMA sha! I haff tayad for her. She still used my data to ask RW2 the JAMB question below...
"If a man is bringing his pregnant side chic for his main chic to kiss her belly, is he a "repentant cheater"? It's an innocent question oooo."
RW2 responded with
"The picture did not say he brought the woman for her to kiss her belly! It could also be that she is the one that went to them."
This AMA still went on to use my data to respond to RW2
"Nothing in the picture suggests that he is repentant; a "repentant cheater" will be the one begging the main chic."
You people should warn AMA oooo, she is just wasting my data upandan...
This is my final answer to the "kweshion" after asking the audience, using 50/50 and phoning a friend...
"Personally, cheating AND abuse are my 2 "deal breakers"...When either (or both) are present, it's time to take a critical look at the marriage/relationship and decide if it's worth continuing..."
