Anyway, as I was doing my Facebook waka after Little Madam woke me up in the middle of the night (She has slept back and I'm trying to #BringBackMySleep), I came across this post in the group that Dr. Ejiro added me to. Among other things, the post has 28 questions that I believe will be helpful for intending couple...s. The answers should tell you if it's a "Go" or "No Go". I don't think it should replace seeking the Lord but I believe it is a good guide.

3. What are absolute deal breakers for you in this marriage?
4. Will you allow either parent or relations to visit you for extended periods in the home?
5. Will you be open with your finances and operate a joint account?
6. When she is on maternity - does she have to keep paying?
7. What type of childcare - nanny, au pair or relations?
8. How will you celebrate the children's birthdays...big parties or small affairs..who pays for this?
9. Are either of you allowed to accept money from parents or siblings....will you disclose it to your spouse?
10.Are you responsible for relatives back home..will you be sending money and gifts...how will you account for that....will the other party be aware?
11. What cars do you hope to drive? Who is paying? Cash or HP?
12. What schools are your kids attending? If private - which party is paying?
13. How much debt does each partner have?
14. How many credit cards?
15. Is a male child important?
16. Will male children be circumcised? If so what method? Hospital or Jewish Rabbi?
17. Will female children be circumcised?
18. Do either of you have significant savings?
19. Do you own property already?
20. How close are you to your immediate family?
21. Can either of you cook? Whose responsibility is it to cook family meals?
22. What chores do you consider the man's and what do you consider the woman's?
23. Do you have a will?
24. Is either partner going down on your work forms as next of kins, if no, why not?
25.Were you hit as a child? Will you hit your kids?
26. When do you resolve issues?

28. Any plans to further your education...how are you planning to fund that?
