Watch where you're going

On my way to work today, we drove past yet another car accident. I don't know the details of this accident but I bet it has something to do with someone not watching where they were going...

I am still amazed at how we do not appreciate the risks involved with the task of transportation...Early in the week, I listened to my dear friend's heart rending account of a promising young man whose destiny was truncated by a hit and run driver. His wife is pregnant...

My boss and I spoke about this funny notion that some Nigerians have that all their misfortunes are from the 'village'. I agree that there are some mysterious cases (if we diligently seek for the root cause, it could be associated with someone not watching where they were going).

Please, don't cut short your destiny or those of others...Watch where you are going. If you are distracted for one reason or the other, please don't drive. And if you have to use the road as a pedestrian, please avoid distractions.
